Beacon+: Applications of Secure Location Sensing in Healthcare

Beacon+ is a secure location-sensing system for healthcare environments that uses tamper-resistant Bluetooth Low Energy beacons to establish trustworthy, unspoofable indoor location. The system supports location-based authentication and access decisions — confirming that a user or device is physically present in an authorized area — and is designed to resist the spoofing and relay attacks that undermine conventional location signals.
